A compact biomass pelleting unit suited for smaller-scale operations. The system is paired with a dedicated hammer mill for raw material size reduction and is designed for straightforward installation with a smaller land footprint than the large plant.

Manufacturer

Shree Khodiyar Engineering Works, Rajkot, Gujarat, India

Included Equipment

  • Biomass Pellet Mill — Model SK-PL450

Working Mechanism

  • Raw biomass (powder form) is first processed through the hammer mill, which uses a cyclone with rotary air valve and an input conveyor with motor and gearbox to regulate feed.
  • The sized material is then compacted into cylindrical pellets by the SK-PL450 pellet mill and discharged for cooling and collection.
  • A fully functional electrical panel board controls and monitors the system.
